Peaceful and relaxing

Noi, on the front desk, was absolutely amazing. So kind and helpful. I left my wash bag at the last place I stayed and she personally took me there and back to collect it. Lovely room in a very peaceful location.

This was my third stay (a month each time) and I would venture to say that the Windmill has improved

Excellent breakfast. Good food, generally. Lovely staff who would go out of their way to help. The beach is very close by and is very clean.......just a pity there are no beds. (It is not easy getting up and/or down at 77!)........and I'm not very keen on buying and lugging my own every day!

The bed! It was like sleeping on concrete covered by a sheet. Also, the bedroom staff need to check things like non-working lights so that they can be replaced, tea and coffee supplies (daily), and the supply of towels.

Me and my partner stayed at the Windmill for 10 nights and...

Me and my partner stayed at the Windmill for 10 nights and had an amazing stay. The food was gorgeous and very cheap it was deffinetly the best food we had eaten in Phuket so we ate at the hotel most days. The rooms were very clean and spacious with marble floor throughout which we really liked. We had pool view from our room, The staff were very friendly and we will definetly be returning. Also the pool area is very nice and the beach is walking distance. The location of the hotel is great as everything you need is nearby. We had the best holiday and we will really miss this place thank you so much for a great stay x

Classy little Gem tucked away from it all at Rawai Beach

It is palatial. Very, very nice. Classy. The view from the 4th floor is amazing. Rooms are large, spacious, well appointed and decorated tastefully. The massive marble bathroom is amazing. The staff are very kind, helpful and attentive even though their English is very poor.

The food in the restaurant wasn't quite as good as I was hoping. Not terrible, just not great.

Good experience, clean and comfortable with tasty food.

It is a quiet area, not much going on in the immediate vicinity. Very clean, big room, both bath and shower, outstanding breakfast, excellent food to order in the restaurant. big balcony overlooking the pool and the hill in front. Shuttle to nearby Rawai, elevator, good gym. Staff polite.

bed needs update (replacement), the mattress too, although it's not in a disastrous condition but for this level and price I expected a better bed. Also the nearest beach to the hotel is not the best, but NaiHarn beach nearby is very good.

Nice location, comfortable room, good service

I booked a pool access room which is on the 1st floor. The room is very specious, the bathroom is big. The pool is long and clean. The hotel located in Yanui Beach. Just 2 mins walk to the beach. The beach itself is smaller but quieter than any other beach in Phuket. It’s close to the windmill viewpoint that is less crowded than Promthep cape. In fact, you can see the cape from windmill viewpoint too.

Breakfast is buffet only toast, Thai dessert, sandwich and beverage but you can choose one main course for example ABF or fish porridge and it isn’t buffet. The bed is too soft for those who have a back problem. But this is not a big deal

Surprised on how good this hotel is!

Overall - an excellent hotel to stay with. My family and I loved it! Pluses = Size of Room, Smart TV, Good Wifi, Spacious Bathroom, Good service from all staff from all departments. Loved the breakfast, the long swimming pool, quietness of the area, welcome drink, views from the room, free minibar, extra sink for washing cups/glasses. The Spa and Beauty Salon is a five star for my wife! She loved the services and she really was pampered! Will come back again!

Not that I did not like but some more suggestions (for our next trip). Need to lower the chlorine in the swimming pool, need to fix the pool table and add more lights, a sign for other guests to shower before entering the pool. Again these are suggestions and not negatives as the resort was fantastic!

Friendly staff

We stayed in the 4-person bedroom and it was clean and very spacious, which is what we wanted. The staff at the Windmill were all extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the pool is great, with nice little elephant fountains! The location is a little bit far out, but perfect for those looking for a bit of down-time away from the busier areas of Phuket such as Patong.

One of the rooms' lamps did not work sadly and the drainage was a little bit blocked. The location is a little bit far out, so it would've been helpful if the hotel's tuk tuk wasn't out of service. That said, the main places nearby were of walk-able distance. Plus, the staff were all super helpful throughout our stay.

Peaceful sanctuary of comfort at the southern end of Phuket.

Landscaping, big pool, extra large rooms with marble interior, extra-large bathroom, shuttle service to beach, free bikes, short walk to beach, very good breakfast included. Great value for money!

Great hotel, really recomended for everyone.

Me and my wife really like this hotel. Was excelent. Less money for much valuables. The location of the hotel is great, just about 15-20 min to the Rawai center on foot and only 3 min to the very nice beach. Really recomment this hotel for everyone, it doesn't matther if couple or family. The pool of the hotel is great to relax.

Just one thing to say, there is a small lakes on the pool sides and there are some frogs. Those frogs make noice sound at night. Don't know if always but when we was there it make it. We was there in May.

A relaxing stay near Yanui Beach

Apart from some issues with room service and the elevator incident, this is a good quality hotel overall, even if not new, and was a pleasant stay for us. We enjoyed breakfasts and the opportunity to have lunch and dinner, although for the latter we usually went outside. The gym, pool table, and bikes need some repair/upgrades but at least they are free. Yanui Beach is within 8 min walking distance, it is quiet and nice, but watch out for rocks under your feet during low tide. The hotel is offering shuttles to Rawai, but walking to Promthep or Nai Harn is difficult without taxi due to high hills around the area.

Biggest issue was when we got stuck in the hotel elevator with two other people for 20 minutes. We managed to force the doors from the inside eventually. With us in the elevator was a teenage girl who said she got stuck there only a few days prior, so this was not a unique occurrence; the hotel staff did not approach us with any apologies. Also, room service seemed lazy - did not react to us putting the sign to clean the room so we had to call for this several times. Wi-fi was average, but at least working most of the time. At night (we were staying in October) some local swamp toads would keep screaming for hours just outside the pool area, although this did not disturb our sleep.

This hotel has got it all right. Room huge and spotlessly clean, restaurant has a wonderful choice and is reasonably priced, staff very welcoming and friendly. Can't fault a thing. Two great beaches near by. Excellent pool area. Very quiet part of Phuket, great for relaxation. Highly recommended.

Love this place~! the best hotel I've had during this trip. Friendly staffs, good breakfast, nice food with fair price, big comfortable room with lovely balcony which can see the windmills on. And also, the swimming pool was great. Only 3 mins to walk to the nearest beach, small but beautiful.
